'Hmmmmmmm.... what a lovely day~'
A (F/C) cat thought as she lay, dozing in the sunlight that streamed gently through the window above her cat bed. You purred softly, enjoying the warmth of the sun as it stroked your (F/C) fur gently.
Feeling another weight settle down next to you, you gingerly turned over, making sure not to make any sudden movements so as not to disturb you precious cargo of a litter in your womb. Your head turned as you nuzzled the bigger male beside you, purring happily as he returned the movement with an affectionate lick.
You sighed contentedly as you gazed into the Mauve eyes of your mate, who was still grooming your soft fur with his rough tongue. Meowing, you started to get up from the bed, stretching languidly, your belly shifting with the movements and making it feel slightly uncomfortable for the kittens. A soft kick was your reprimand.
You turned around, seeing that Canacat was still lying there, looking at you in curiosity. "I'm a bit hungry, I'll be back in a moment." You said soothingly.
Your mate nodded, his dirty blonde mane-fur shifting as he curled up. "Be careful..." He said in a soft, emotionless voice. His mauve eyes followed you carefully as you made your way to the kitchen door.
"I will~!" You sing songed, manuevering yourself gingerly down the stairs. God, you felt like an inexperienced kitten with too short legs again. Why did the most mundane of things have to be so difficult now that you were pregnant? It didn't help any that you were very close to your due date.
Finally having reached the bottom of the stairs, you wobbled your way to the kitchen, meowing loudly to grab the attention of your master, Maple Hockey. You curled yourself around his legs, mewing and looking up with pleading eyes.
He smiled down at you, stroking the back of a (F/C) ear. Your (E/C) eyes closed in bliss, a rumbling purr resounding from your chest.
Maple Hockey chuckled, placing a plate of your favorite food before you. You ate it quickly, feeling a strange... something coming over you. You shrugged it off and continued with your meal.
After you were done, you didn't feel the need to go back to your mate upstairs. Instead, you felt the need to find the nearest warm place, preferably somewhere soft. Rushing through the house, you finally found a closet with a bunch of blankets stashed away in there.
Pushing the blankets to form a warm and comfortable nest, you lay there, feeling contractions washing over you as you started with the long process of bringing your litter into the world.
Canacat perked his ears up, his whiskers twitching in agitation. It had been way too long since (Name) went to get some food. It shouldn't take you this long to get and eat your food.
Getting up, he quickly made his way down the stairs, resolving himself to curling up with you on the couch, where you no doubtedly were at the moment. Moving into the living room, he scanned the room, mauve eyes not seeing hide nor hair of his (F/C) mate.
Worry started to take over Canacat as he started looking all over the house, checking in the kitchen, the den, the hallway, their masters bedroom, bathroom, even outside. Each time he couldn't find you, he started panicking more. What if a dog had taken you? What if you had wondered too far and gotten lost? What if you had run away?
Running down one of the various hallways, anacat suddenly stopped at hearing a soft sound. Twitching his ears, he listened intently. Hearing the sound again, the soft mew of a new born, Canacat looked around, trying to find the source of the noise.
Seeing nothing but a closet on the far left side of the hallway, Canacat swiftly made his way over there. The door was closed, so he used his paws to open it.
He'd finally found you! Sighi9ng in relief, Canacat jumped into the nest next to you. You greeted him tiredly, nuzzling your nose into his mane-fur as your new litter of kittens, a bunch containing four boys and a little girl, continued feeding from their mama.
Canacat sat beside you, looking at his kittens in awe, a rumbling proud purr vibrating from him as he groomed his four boys and little runt of a girl.
You smiled at him. Nuzzling one kitten at a time, you introduced the proud father to his new born kittens. "Connor (A little boy with your fur colour), Alex (Another little boy with Canacat's mane-fur and colouring), Michael (A boy with canacat's colouring but your fur colour as a mane), Roy (A boy with your fur colouring and canacat's mane) and Lorelei (The little girl who looked like canacat)."
Canacat nodded in approval of the names, cuddling up with his new family. "Je t'aime..." He mumbled to his sleepy mate and kit's, feeling peace overcoming his whole being...
The peaceful moment was ruined when a large brown furred blob of an uncle jumped into the closet and tried to pick a fight with Canacat.
